Finca Rosa Blanca Country Inn is situated
above the beautiful Central Valley of Costa Rica. Surrounded
by towering Higueron trees and exotic flora,
the Inn offers spectacular views of volcanoes, cloud forests
and coffee plantations. Here at 4000 feet above sea level
on a temperate plateau of extraordinary beauty, is grown some
of the worlds best coffee in the lush volcanic soil.
Nestled in 10 acres amid hundreds of fruit trees and dramatic
tropical flora is the enchanted Finca Rosa Blanca Country
Inn, a jewel crowning a picturesque knoll.
Imagine if Gaudi and Frank Lloyd
Wright had combined their talents and visions. The result
would be an architectural stunner as eclectic and electrifying
as Finca Rosa Blanca. This is one of Costa Ricas -nay,
the worlds!- preeminent boutique hotels, opened in 1989.
Inspired by Gaudis architectonics and the Santa
Fe style, the hotel is conceived as if from a fairy tale.

Rooms
The Rosa Blanca Suite is a stunning duplex,
with the sleeping quarters occupying a tower 40 feet above
the ground with a 360-degree view of the surrounding lush
countryside and the Central Valley beyond. Stairs built around
a Cristobal tree trunk lead down to the master bathroom.
There a hand painted tropical rainforest mural surrounds the
bathtub-pool, which is fed by spring water cascading down
a stone waterfall
Carved spiral stairs curl down from its glass-lined
canopied tower bedroom to an artfully outrageous bath embellished
by wall murals to resemble a tropical rain forest, the oversized
blue soaking tub simulating a jungle pool (replete with a
stone waterfall). Andrew Harpers Hideaway

Design definition: The outrageous,
free-form rain-forest bathroom in the Rosa Blanca suite is
filled with plants, painted with jungle designs and the royal-blue
bath is big enough for two and filled by a waterfall running
through rocks
Luxuriate in the elegance of El Guarumo,
a junior suite where you can sit on your private terrace or
bask in a free form tub overlooking a Guarumo tree and the
far-flung reaches of the valley below.
