What to do

For action we take you to the water: we surf or water-ski on the waves of the Pacific, fish our own lunch or dinner, or take a dive into Neptune's kingdom and understand world-famous Cousteau's deep-sea passion.

We hike into Parque Nacional to the black, white and red mangrove morasses. We meet a raccoon and a howling monkey on our way, hear and see the white ibis, the silver heron and the pink spoonbill. At night entrench ourselves at Playa Grande and observe the leather back turtle laying her eggs.

Parasailing, cycling, horseback riding, enjoying a cocktail at a beach stand, swaying to the salsa - there are numerous ways to relax at Playa Tamarindo.
